A reminder to our dancing friends --
Saturday, July 5, Shepherdstown Music and Dance will host its regular, monthly dance. Come for the charm of dancing in this lovely, historic town, and come to welcome our caller JoAnn Koppany, here from San Diego. And we have that special something that July dancers welcome -- an air-conditioned dance hall!
Our band is Rocket Surgery, with Carl Friedman, Andrew Marcus and Ralph Barthine.
Note to our out-of-town dancers -- there is a concert and fireworks event at Antietam Battlefield the same evening as the dance. You may want to come early to Shepherdstown for dinner, or avoid Rt 65 and Rt 34 around Sharpsburg just before the dance.
The dance begins at 8; lesson at 7. We'll look forward to seeing you there!
