The FootFall 2009 schedule is now posted on our website http://footfalldance.com . It's going to be QUITE a party! Almost enough contra and waltz ("enough" dancing is a concept that doesn't really exist), plus lots of other dance and nondance workshops. We're adding a rounds-singing workshop on Saturday morning, probably right after breakfast - it's not yet on the website schedule. We also are hoping to have the pool open more than is currently posted - we are looking for an additional certified lifeguard, so that we can extend the hours.

If you've been intending to sign up but haven't yet, we thought we should remind you that there's an additional $25 fee for registrations received on-line after midnight August 21 or postmarked August 22 or later. So go to the website (admire the schedule, drool over the menu, look through the photos), print out the registration form, find your checkbook, an envelope, and a stamp and get your paperwork in the mail. Or do it the easy way - sign up from the website using PayPal.

If you'd like us to send you a printed flyer (or if you'd like a dozen or so flyers to put out at your local dance), please email us your postal address.

If you wish to apply for a kitchen fellowship, we have three slots still open, plus space for one alternate, but these slots have been going quickly, so please contact us by email if you're interested. There's a very substantial reduction in fees for dancers who sign up as kitchen or sweeper fellows.

If you had intended to apply for a sweeper fellowship, we have filled those slots, but we would like to have one alternate. If you'd like to be that alternate, you will need to sign up at the regular rate and we will reimburse you for the difference between the regular rate and the fellowship rate if one of the other sweepers is unable to attend. Please email us if you are interested.

FootFall does gender balance, and we currently have three graceful and energetic (and patient) female dancers who need to be paired off with an equal number of graceful and energetic male dancers. If you are of the male persuasion (genus procrastinatii) and haven't gotten around to filling out the form and sending it in, please gracefully approach your keyboard, energetically fill in the on-line form, and register already!! C'mon, guys. Sheesh.
